Flene brings over 8 years of healthcare experience to our patients, including five years in the field of home health and three years within a community health center. She decided to go into healthcare in the first place when she volunteered at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital during high school. Flene went on to obtain her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Sacramento State and received her certification as a Physician Assistant from Touro University where she also earned a Masters Degree in Public Health. Prior to coming to Western Sierra Medical Clinic, Flene worked for over three years as a Physician Assistant at Manzanita Medical Clinic in Carmichael. In her spare time she enjoys taking care of her two young children, running outdoors and spending quality time with her husband. She is very happy to be on board, and believes strongly in quality of care.
